This was my 4th stay in 2 months due to my brother having a heart attack and then hospice care before he died. This hotel made this emotional event.... less stressful. Xavier was very kind and sympathetic. As well as all the staff. And one young man at the front desk called up to our room right after we checked in for the 4th time to ask if everything was satisfactory. The coffee was excellent each morning. And even though I did not have much of an appetite, the breakfast selection my husband brought up made me eat. I was pleased with this hotel and will only stay here when I am in Kalamazoo. It is always clean and comfortable. And the view in room 507 is perfect. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. I don't right many reviews. But this one I stand by.

The room was spotless, had a great number of easily accessible hooks for hanging things up, and the beds were very comfortable. I really appreciated the green approach to providing soap and shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom, which was also lovely and easy to navigate. The hotel is close to the highway, and our room faced it, We were very surprised (and grateful) by how quiet it was! The gym facility was great, and the breakfast was one of the best of that type that we've found - lots of healthy choices and it was all delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will look for AVID hotels when I travel. We would have been perfectly happy to stay there for multiple nights. It was a great value for the money.

The little gym was nice, our beds were comfortable, nice showers that were equipped with quality body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.. the room was a little snug but big enough for two adults and 1 kid. They had a nice selection for breakfast.

The European style uncluttered and clean room accommodations. The breakfast selection, including vegetarian options for my spouse was incredible at this hotel room price point. The staff we had interacted with were both cheery and pleasant. Look forward to staying here in the future.

We liked the location! It was near downtown and also near to the Wings Event Center where we attended a concert. Uber service to the area was helpful and plentiful. The room was nice, clean, and well appointed. Breakfast was great - so many selections!
